OMG I loved this book! This was the first time I have read an alien inspired book and it was nothing like I imagined it would be which is a good thing for me. I am not into too many fantasy books and was worried when I decided to read this one. However I was happy with the outcome as it didn't go into too much of the aliens background. If it talked more about the background of the aliens or if the story went into putter space, I'm nor sure I would have liked it as much.
Anabelle lives in Germantown, Maryland and won on the TV show Cupcake Wars. She now runs a very successful bakery called Yumm Bakery which is where she met Kaden, the man of her dreams. She has been "friends" with his for a year Buthelezi not shown any interest in here so she starts to date other people. However, things start to change which also confuses her.
Kaden also lives in Germantown, Maryland and is keeping a huge secret from his best friend Annabelle. He wishes that things were easier and much simpler than they actually are so he can be with Annabelle. Too bad his secret is making things hard for her. Kaden is alien and all he wants to do is tell Annabelle since he thinks she is his mate... Too bad it's easier said then done.
The FBI has put rules in place so that Kaden and his brothers could live on Earth peacefully. One of those conditions was that they could not form relationships with a human for a long term basis. Once Kaden found out Annabelle was going on a date, he wanted to make sure he was supportive but that turned into him kissing her which lead to his heart starting to beat. This was a sign that Annabelle was his mate which made things even harder.

I was so glad that I chose to review this book even though I was wry. This was a great Romance story. Kaden and Annabelle were so cute together but there were many struggles that they faced together in order to hide his secret. The thing that scares him the most is telling Annabelle.will she accept him or will she run away?
